Baokun Law Firm is a boutique law firm based in Beijing. We act for foreign businesses and individuals on the legal questions that come with investing, operating and resolving disputes in China — and we act to protect their position under Chinese law.
The firm was founded to address a straightforward problem. Foreign individuals and small and medium-sized businesses have often found it hard to obtain proper Chinese legal advice, because the market is built around large multinationals. Our purpose is to close that gap — to make advice on Chinese law genuinely accessible to the businesses and individuals who need it, whatever the size of the matter.
Our lawyers work in English and Mandarin, and bring both a close understanding of Chinese law and the experience to apply it. Rather than staffing matters with large teams, the lawyers who win the work do the work — so clients speak directly to the people responsible for their case.
